The handoff

Watch the phone take over

Your PC is listening.The receiver sits quietly on your desktop, visible only to devices on your own network.

Your phone arrives.Open the companion app, hit “Find computers”, and your PC shows up in a second or two.

One tap and you’re paired.Scan the QR or type the six-digit code. The PC remembers the device until you revoke it.

Now the phone is the controller.Pick a layout and every touch lands on the PC as a real gamepad, key or mouse move.

Build any layout you can
draw with your thumb.

Start from an offset, symmetric or steering-wheel preset, then move, resize and rebind every control. Change artwork, backgrounds and grouping until the surface fits your hands and your game.

Your phone talks straight to your PC over the network you already trust. Pairing is explicit, remembered devices can be revoked at any time, and the receiver never silently installs system drivers.

Setup

Four steps, about two minutes.

Install both halves

ArcRelay Receiver on Windows, ArcRelay Companion on Android.

Open “Pair a device”

The receiver shows a QR code and a six-digit code, and starts listening on your network.

Find your computer

On the phone, choose “Find computers”, then scan the QR or type the code.

Pick a layout and play

Choose a preset or one of your own. Your PC now sees a real controller.

Before you start

What it needs.

Windows

Windows 10 or 11.
ViGEmBus is required for virtual Xbox-controller output. You install it yourself, from the official source.
The receiver handles discovery, pairing, transport, layout sync and controller output.

Android

Android 6.0 or newer.
Sensor, haptic, Bluetooth and USB features depend on your device hardware and OS permissions.
The companion app is the touch surface, sensors, haptics and layout editor.
